The Art of Leaving Music Ministry part 2
1. Music Ministry administrative center. Get out of the Church building. Diversify your activities. Adopt non-music activities like exercise and friends that give you a well rounded life.
2. Get an Education. Take some classes that enhance your music skills. Moreover take some classes that diversify your math, social, artistic, culinary, computer education.
3. Celebrate Go find some activities that thrill you. Roller coater ride, whale hunting, attend a concert , cruise to Alaska. .
4. Escape Leave the Country, State, City, Town where you do ministry. The trip will give you a new perspective on life. Go to a place where nobody knows you.
5. Career Diversification. Seek a new hobby seek new PT vocational employment Habitat for Humanity etc.
6. Surrender. Take a Sunday off…..Take a sabbatical, take a month to center yourself
