AM Award-winning gospel music singer, Fr. Anthony Musaala, wants to climb the musical ladder with his fellow gospel artistes.

During a gospel concert at Makerere University's St. Augustine's Hall recently, Musaala said he would start a multi-million shilling project for Catholic gospel music artistes, to improve the quality of their music.

He said he would build a studio, where the artistes would train and record their music at relatively low prices.

Musaala vowed to form an association of Catholic gospel artistes, which will help them start income-generating projects.

He rapped critics, who accuse him of taking contemporary music, nicknamed 'bidongo', to the Catholic church, saying that was the only way of winning back the youth.
