The Paradoxical "Door"

Thank you for Word for the Day.    Someone's knocking at the door
Somebody's ringing the bell
Someone's knocking at the door
Somebody's ringing the bell
Do me a favor
Open the door and let me, let them in now
by Paul McCartney.

Thy Kingdom come. God's Kingdom is established through  the His Movement - Momentum- Revolution of at His (revolving ) Door. Behold the Movement - Momentum- Revolution of His revolving door. Every body perseveres in its state of being at rest or of moving uniformly straight ahead, except insofar as it is compelled to change its state by forces impressed. Isaac Newton's Law of Motion.Newton's First and Second laws, in Latin, from the original 1687 edition of the Principia Mathematica. The Kingdom of God is established by His forces impressed. “The kingdom of heaven suffers ( Movement - Momentum- Revolution) violenceMatthew 11:12. The door offers us a Paradox. Everyone needs to enter, everyone needs to leave. Behold, the next egress to the door! ...Your divine connection to your destiny...Your answered prayer. Remember, God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. So, Knock and knock again. God bless your coming in and your  out going out. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door and am knocking; if any one hear my voice and open the door, I will come in unto him and sup with him, and he with me. The Portal to your success has not been tried and found wanting; it has been found difficult and not tried. The Door, gate, portal of your egress and destiny is not a theory or speculation, but a life; not a philosophy of life, but a life and a living process.  The paradox of the door is parabolic. The door to your next season is so high that you can’t get over it, So wide that  you can’t get around it, So low that you can’t get under it, but you must come in at the door. Hear the prophetic Word of the Lord, Unfold, ye portals everlasting,. With welcome to receive Him ascending on high. Behold, the King of Glory, He mounts up through the sky... "Unfold, ye portals everlasting, Behold the King of Glory,. He mounts up through the sky Behold the King comes nigh." ... Lift up your heads, O ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of Glory shall come in.

Perhaps, God presents a door of discernment. Sometimes, it is a door that is opened wide with a blazing portals. The blazing portal may mean correction, empowerment, anointing, or safety.  Spiritually speaking , if you are escaping through a closed door, feel the door before opening it. A hot door or doorknob usually means the room is on fire. If smoke, heat, or flames block your exit routes, stay in the room (prayer closet) with the door closed.

Revelation 3: 8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. The  position of the door is critical. God opens the door when He wants to bless you. He closes the door for some when He wants to protect you.   Perhaps, their needs to be simultaneous movement and momentum on both sides of the Door. This paradox presents divine tension. The dilemma of the door receives revelation by God. While you are at the door, ask yourself some questions. Which side of the door are you standing? Who are the crippled people stuck at the door? What is your responsibility to the crippled? The door may attract many foreign travelers. What are the travelers saying during egress? Which season are you approaching the (storm, steel, screen) door?

Remember, God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. So, Knock and knock again. God bless your coming in and your  outgoing out. John 10:9 (Amplified Bible) 9 I am the Door; anyone who enters in through Me will be saved (will live). He will come in and he will go out [freely], and will find pasture.

Open Doors: I have set before thee an open door. Compare Acts 14:27; 1 Cor. 16:9; 2 Cor. 2:12; Col. 4:3. The open door means great opportunities; generally for preaching the gospel. It probably means here, a way opened to convert the Gentiles. Thou hast a little strength, and didst keep, etc. Through their strength was not great, they had remained faithful in much opposition. Hast not denied my name. The Pagan authorities often tested Christians by commanding them to blaspheme the name of Christ under penalty of death. Door: Jesus; opening; to be given admittance; possibility of danger or good; opening of the mouth to speak edification or idle words. (Hos. 2: 15; 1 Cor. 16: 9; 2 Cor. 2: 12; Col. 4: 3; John 10: 7, 9; Rev. 3: 8, 20; 4: 1; Ps. 141: 3).

The Doors are numbered: Revelation 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel.

The uncompromised Doorway: Stand at the door and look in rather than  dwell with the household of iniquity. Psalm 84:10 (Amplified Bible) 10For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand [anywhere else]; I would rather be a doorkeeper and stand at the threshold in the house of my God than to dwell [at ease] in the tents of wickedness.

The door has instructions: Write the divine name on the posts (mezuzoth') of their doors. Deuteronomy 6:9 (Amplified Bible) 9And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house and on your gates.

Mystery of the open doorway: Luke 18:25 (Amplified Bible) 25 For it is easier for a camel to enter through a needle's eye than [for] a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.

Prophetic Door: Revelation 3:20 (Amplified Bible) 20 Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears and listens to and heeds My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will eat with him, and he [will eat] with Me.

The murmurs heard the Door: Numbers 11:10 (Amplified Bible) 10And Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, every man at the door of his tent; and the anger of the Lord blazed hotly, and in the eyes of Moses it was evil.

Door of Repentance: the door of the Temple of The Lord, between the porch and the altar, ... Joel 2 (King James Version) 17Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare thy people, O LORD, and give not thine heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?

Miracle Door: According to Acts 3:1, Peter and John “were goingup into the Temple” (avne,bainon eivj to. i`ero,n) at the ninth hour of prayer-Feast of Tabernacles. Acts 3:2 (Amplified Bible)2[When] a certain man crippled from his birth was being carried along, who was laid each day at that gate of the temple [which is] called Beautiful, so that he might beg for charitable gifts from those who entered the temple.

Behold, a stranger at the door

The version in The Hymn Book, 1971:

Behold, a stranger at the door!
He gently knocks, has knocked before,
has waited long, is waiting still:
we treat no other friend so ill.

If we will open, see, he stands
with loving heart and laden hands;
O matchless kindness! and he shows
this matchless kindness to his foes.

Admit Him, for the human breast
ne'er entertained so kind a guest;
no mortal tongue their joys can tell
with whom he condescends to dwell.

Sovereign of souls, thou Prince of Peace,
O may thy gentle reign increase:
throw wide the door, each willing mind;
and be his empire all mankind.
