Fear Factor

"Once you agree upon the price you and your family must pay for success it enables you to ignore the minor hurts, the opponent's pressure, the temporary failures." Vince Lombardi

The first step to conquering fear is to call on God for strength and confront it. Can the new leadership solve the financial, political, educational,  and scientific challenges of tomorrow today? Character, Compatibility,  and Competency are some of the issues which have challenged the former leadership in the financial realm, the political realm, the educational realm and the scientific realm. Does the baby boomers, generation X'ers, and succeeding generations recognize the Character, Compatibility,  and Competency flaws of the former and latter generations. The first step to conquering fear is to call on God for strength and confront it. Success may mean gradually exposing the leadership to the thing, person or situation that is causing the fear.

Good succession means that the Former generation leadership recognizes the emerging latter generation. Saul pursued David  in the matter of succession for a generation. What is the the price you and your family must pay for transition, articulation, integration and success in the financial realm, the political realm, the educational realm and the scientific realm. The leaders need to familiarize themselves with  the intentions of God in the financial realm, the political realm, the educational realm and the scientific realm. What is the intentionality of God? Does God intend to manifest His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven? Then, what are the issues at hand? Perhaps,  Character, Compatibility,  and Competency are some of the issues at hand. If the leaders knew the intentionality of God, they would endure the sacrifice to hasten and strengthen the Character, Compatibility,  and Competency issues. If the leaders knew the intentionality of God, it would endure the sacrifice to hasten the outcome. 1 Timothy 1:7 (Amplified Bible) 7They are ambitious to be doctors of the Law (teachers of the Mosaic ritual), but they have no understanding either of the words and terms they use or of the subjects about which they make [such] dogmatic assertions. Like Job we would say though He slay me, yet will I wait for and trust Him.

Succession accompanies the move of God. The purpose of succession of leadership is not to avoid difficulty, but to produce a Character, Compatibility,  and Competency adequate to meet it when it comes. It does not make life easy; rather it tries to make us great enough for life.” Baby boomer and Baby X leadership may have different orientations. Are their  gender, racial, class, denomination, male chauvinism, woman's liberation, theological, and political issues? I am not sure that the former generations have adequately prepared the latter generations for a smooth succession. Are key people  being repositioned in the financial realm, the political realm, the educational realm and the scientific realm to solve the issues of tomorrow today.

Will the new leadership be able to integrate and interface the new and old technologies. Will generational instant gratification delay give in to success premiums?

When leadership accepts failure, leadership fail. Perfect love casts out fear. Praising the Lord is an excellent antidote to fear. I implore the leadership with all of my heart, face your financial, political, educational,  scientific fears. God is calling the Leadership to fear Him more than the financial, political, educational,  scientific challenges circumstances that we are facing. Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. Leaders who remember the past Character, Compatibility,  and Competency issues are sanctioned to take a giant step for the Kingdom of God. Failure is a temporary pit stop in the game of life. 2 Timothy 1:7 (Amplified Bible) 7For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. Fear of God is the recognition of the Sovereign Majesty of God.

Progress, far from consisting in change, depends on retentiveness. When change is absolute there remains no being to improve and no direction is set for possible improvement: and when experience is not retained, as among savages, infancy is perpetual. Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it. In the first stage of life the mind is frivolous and easily distracted, it misses progress by failing in consecutiveness and persistence. This is the condition of children and barbarians, in which instinct has learned nothing from experience. George Santayana,
