Yolanda Adams and Mary Mary are joining forces for the 'Chrysler Presents the Divas of Gospel' tour, running from Apr. 26-June 3. Shown is Adams.

Featuring the powerful voices of Yolanda Adams and Mary Mary as headliners, "Chrysler Presents the Divas of Gospel" will run to June 3 in non-church venues, with exception of the May 26 concert in Lakeland, Fla. Along the way, the tour will also welcome guest singers at select venues, including Tye Tribbett, G.A., and Dottie Peoples.

“It’s vitally important to keep growing now that people know me and my music,” explained Adams in a biography. “We’ve been blessed enough to impact so many lives, both in and out of the typical Gospel market, so…it’s important to keep reaching outward so that even more people can get inspiration from what we do.”

Both of the headliners have had significant careers up until now.

Besides the numerous best-selling gospel albums, Adams has taken home multiple trophies including several Stellar Awards, a Soul Train Lady of Soul Award, a Grammy and an American Music Award for Inspirational Artist of the Year. She is also the founder of the Voice of an Angel Foundation, an organization that mentors high school students around the United States to aid them in finding careers in education.

The duo Mary Mary, made up of sisters Tina and Erica Campbell, have also had their share of success with their own platinum debut album. They have now just finished up their third album, and are focusing largely on their new roles as mothers.

“We’ve been focusing on having babies and staying home with our husbands and family. We’ve been enjoying life,” explained Erica in a group biography. “You gotta take time for family.”

Since the tour is being sponsored by Chrysler, attendees will also be given a chance to win a two-year lease on a 2007 Chrysler Aspen. People can sign up either at the events themselves or online at divasofgospel.com, and the car will be given away at the end of the tour.
