The art of negotiation

The art of walking may parallel the art of negotiation.

The Art of NEGOTIATION

 you have heard the word

of the Lord through this Meditation..

.email it and take it the person Gods leads you to....

Let us never negotiate out of fear. But let us never fear to negotiate.
John F. Kennedy

This Meditation is the hardest meditation that I  tried to write. The spiritual warfare and opposition is great. 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

Be assured of Gods unconditional Love...however, Your Dream hangs in the balance...

DO NOT FEAR

2 Timothy 1
7For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline
Psalm 56
11 in God I trust; I will not be afraid.
What can man do to me?

Do Good to the opposition

Proverbs 3
27 Do not withhold good from those who deserve it,
when it is in your power to act..

God is your reward not the object of your negotiating

8because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free

Edify those at the negotiating table

Ephesians 4

29Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

put away anger

31Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Avoid the Playful Spirit during negotiating

Ephesians 5
4Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving.

Avoid Deception at the negotiating table

Ephesians 5
6Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God's wrath comes on those who are disobedient.

Do not Covenant with your enemies of God

Ephesians 5
11Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them

Wait on God

Lamentations 3
25 The LORD isgood to those whose hope isin him,
to the one who seeks him;

The Wisdom of God will compensate for your weakness

3I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. 4My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, 5so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.

Be a listener

Proverbs 1
5 let the wise listen and add to their learning,
and let the discerning get guidance-

do not act until you have all the facts

Proverbs 18
13 He who answers before listening-
that is his folly and his shame.

Be Quiet

Proverbs 17
28   Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. 1 Better a dry crust with peace and quiet
than a house full of feasting, [1] with strife

Do not accept a peace offering

Prov 17:23   A wicked man taketh a gift out of the bosom to pervert the ways of judgment.

Be positive and cheerful

Prov 17:22   A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Do not share everything at the negotiating table

Proverbs 17:27   He that hath knowledge spareth his words: and a man of understanding is of an excellent spirit.

Be Congenial

Proverbs 18
24   A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Define your expectations at the negotiating table

Matthew 7
7   Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Listen to the Strongest point of your opposition

Abigail brought  food to ward off Davids assault

Please read the entire chap 1 Sam 25

1 Sam 25:18   Then Abigail made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of parched corn, and an hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses.

What the expectations of the opposition

Do you know what they cannot give up
