Eyes have not seen or ears heard about the "make-over" new creation will produce upon Christ return. There will be no trace of Adam. Only the trace of New Adam. We shall be like him. All of creation will get a makeover. Creation will be crowned by His majesty.
Restitution means a new heaven and a new earth, The old will not be reconstituted. Christ will trump creation with a new creation. Not the old pre Adamic state, not the post adamic state.......but a new Adamic state......Like Rock-paper-scissors, the new Adam will trump all creation. We get to foretaste this Post Adamic with Christ now...in part.. Rock-paper-scissors (also known as jan-ken-pon, rochambeau (sometimes spelled roshambo), ching-chang-wulla, and many derived terms[1]), is a popular two-person hand game.
The objective is to select a gesture which defeats that of the opponent. Gestures are resolved as follows:
Adam is probably the original red man with a scarlet written on his generation. People associated Adam and Eve with the periodic cycles of nature. When Adam fell he destroyed the Golden Age; he caused the great cycles of nature which removed the perpetual season of summer and brought on the death of winter.
Further insight into the red color associated with Adam is provided by the Phoenicians, those cousins of the Hebrews who lived along the shores of the Mediterranean just north of the Holy Land in the cities of Tyre and Sidon The Phoenician name is Greek; the singular is Phoenix, the plural is Phoenike. Phoenix was the eponymous ancestor of the Phoenicians; the word meant purplish-red or crimson. Phoenix was the Purple One or the Red One. Cry to the Lord for pardon; and to the penitent, converted, and believing, times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord. God Has Blotted Them Out. I'm happy and glad and free.... | |
Acts 3:20-21 20 and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world beganThe literal meaning of these terms is clear and needs little comment. The usage pattern for the words translated "restore" is mostly a literal meaning. Life, land, property, health, and other tangible items are the subject of restoration When the disciples raised this issue to Jesus, he notes that the rejection of John was equivalent to rejecting the spirit of Malachi's Elijah and thus implies an analogy for Jesus' own rejection and death. Therefore, while the spirit and power of Elijah in John were rejected, there remains a stillfuture restoration. This is the very point of Acts 1:6 and 3:21. In 1:6 the disciples are still confused about the issue of restoration and hope that now is the time. But in 3:21 Peter has progressed to understand that the restoration belongs to the eschaton. ajpokatavstasiĆ, Apokatastasis restoration
