a. Bible, Devotion, praise and worship
b. Study the music score under a music mentor
c. Acknowledge the Holy Spirits first music prompting.
d. Promote congregation participation
e. Practice a mixture of God’s presence and music
f. Avoid and Bridle the music that:
i. points to manipulation
ii. Points to self promotion and self aggrandizement
iii. Avoid unscriptural selections
iv. music that is incompatible to local church doctrine and practice
3. Music Character
a. What you are as a soloist will outlast what the congregation says you are
b. Character is the behavior that you exercise in private
c. Music excesses
i. Find an environment that feeds your:
1. fellowships and intimacy with God
2. music genius
ii. Avoid people, music life styles and music regions that are potentially unhealthy and dangerous
iii. Discern wrong people - wrong people will seek out the company and presence of credibility
iv. Develop personal sense of integrity
v. Gods presence opportunity, demon spirit, wrong people
vi. Discern Right person –wrong person
vii. Discern Rebellion and wise counsel
d. Staff your weakness
i. Avoid , jealousy, envy, unhealthy competition
ii. Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant
iii. Love never gives up.
Love cares more for others than for self.
Love doesn't want what it doesn't have.
Love doesn't strut,
Doesn't have a swelled head,
Doesn't force itself on others,

Some of the Music Ministry soloist leaders will be deceived in 2007-08 and there will a falling away. Their will be an increase in Music Ministry soloist Apostasy....Some of the issues listed below will be used to distract the Ministry of Music. The allure will involve some of the following issues in 2007. In 2007-08 God will raise up a generation of Music Ministry soloist that will serve Him. God is going to exalt some new Faces on the Music Ministry scene. The new Music Ministry "voices" will sing Gods Song. They will not have the same credentials owned by your favorite Music or Liturgical Convention. They will not be associated with the royalty of Gospel Music. Look for new names to come on the scene.
