Dog days of Summer...Queen the Pawn part2

Dog days of Summer...Queen the Pawn

Behold the Dog days of summer. Dog days can also to define a time period or event that is very hot and/or stagnant. Also many religious cultures believe that dog days are holy. The term itself was coined by the ancient Romans, who called these days caniculares dies (days of the dogs) after the constellation of Canis Major, (bigger dog) within which Sirius (α Canis Majoris) is found. As the hottest and most humid days of summer generally coincided with the period where Sirius rose/set with the sun, they believed that heat from Sirius was increasing the heat of the sun.

Sirius (α CMa / α Canis Majoris / Alpha Canis Majoris) is the brightest star in the night-time sky, with a visual apparent magnitude of −1.46. It is located in the constellation Canis Major. Its name comes from the Latin sīrius, from Greek σείριος (seirios, "glowing" or "scorcher"). As the major star of the "Big Dog" constellation, it is often called the "Dog Star".

Hear the Word of the Lord today. It's the Dog days of Summer. A soldier must husband their strength for the war. The battle is not to the swift or strong but to them that endure to the end. Strategies win wars. Many of the old warriors have lost battles through fatigue and battle worn strategies. The battle strategy is likened to the chess board. Gather the pawn for the first layer of battle. You will glean the first offense of the enemy.
