Technology and the 40 Days Presence Driven Life

40 days Presence Driven Life phase 2

Technology and the 40 Days Presence Driven Life

Dear 40 days Presence Driven Life:

The role of the 40 days Presence Driven Life members is to be able to recognize the move of God. The Second assignment of the 40 days Presence Driven Life members is creating a movement of God. Consequently, we start by meditating a minimum of 15 minutes. What is 40 days Presence Driven Life meditation? What you think about the most will grow the strongest in you. Meditation is giving your mind and thoughts back to God. The goal is to free the mind for meditation on the things of the Lord.

During the meditation you will receive many inspiring ideas and thoughts. Your thoughts and ideas should be journaled in your log. “File don’t pile!” Organize don’t stack. Your goal in life is to free your mind. Theologically we say, Philippians 2:5  For let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus; (DBY) My emails are not just for storage. My emails are supposed to provoke a God moment for you. The assignment during the 40 days Presence Driven Life is to file–organize the information that God shares with you in meditation. Your 40 days Presence Driven Life journal or log is an “analog” file. During the 40 days Presence Driven Life, your mind is not for storing the information. God created you to create. The 40 days Presence Driven Life is more about process than project orientated. Thus, there are several storage devices that free your mind to create. Digital Devices suggestions might include

1.   Digital voice recorder (Wal-Mart $25-40.00 for 6-12 hours of recording)

2.   Computer Note book

3.   Recommended reading File...Don't Pile : A proven filing system for personal and professional use (Paperback) by Pat Dorff

The Industrial and Technological revolutions have affected the infrastructure. It affected the physical, financial, communication, human being, communication, and energy infrastructure. The industrial and technological innovation reestablishes and concretizes God's reality. "What Hath God Wrought" "Come hereWatson, I want you," were the words Alexander Graham Bell told to his assistant Watson. These words were the first ever heard over telephone lines, and launched the telecommunications industry. The nation also remembers the first electronic long distance message sent: "What Hath God Wrought" by Samuel F. B. Morse. The role of the 40 Day participant is be an innovator. These innovations are democratizers, bringing reality to the rhetoric of Kingdom of God (Gods presence) to the market place (ie George Washington Carver). God is trying to change the infrastructure of your generation and life. His kingdom come! So, your meditations and communication will eventually fit into several categories-dominions. The person (people) that take the mountain dominion, rule the Kingdom. God owns the kingdom. We rule the kingdom on his behalf.
