Bobby Brown and Whitney Houston are officially divorced. The split became final today in an Orange County, Calif., court and Whitney was granted full custody of daughter Bobbi Kristina, 14.
Oprah Winfrey had songwriter Diane Warren on her show yesterday and she said she's at work on a song for Whitney's comeback album. But the album, due in June, is said to have hit a snag as Whitney and mogul Clive Davis are differing in their opinions as to the direction it should take.

There are reports circulating that Whitney Houston and her longtime mentor Clive Davis are at odds with each other concerning the direction her new album should take. Word is Whitney wants to stick to the old way of doing things while Clive wants to bring in new people and add a possible Christina Aguilera collaboration to the mix.
Just last week Ne-Yo spoke of working with Whitney but not being very impressed with the songs beings considered for the album. He claims they were all whiny, dealing only with Whitney’s past personal and legal problems. Whatever the situation may be I just hope to get an album that reminds me of why I fell in love with Whitney so many years ago.
FYI- Whitney’s 14 years marriage to Bobby “Beat A Sista Down” Brown is officially over today.
This all comes two weeks after singer/songwriter Ne-Yo was brought in to give his opinion on eight tracks and declared them "boring."
Ne-Yo: "Whitney's comeback album was boring"Whitney Houston’s comeback album has been blasted as boring by Ne-Yo, after he was called into revamp it.
Singer-songwriter Ne-Yo was asked to give his opinion on eight new Whitney tracks by music mogul Clive Davis, but wasn’t blown away by the superstar’s latest efforts.
He says all its tracks focussed on her split from husband Bobby Brown and overcoming her drug problem.
“They all had the one same theme, which was ‘My name is Whitney Houston and this is my triumphant comeback’,” Ne-Yo says.
