		but David encouraged  himself in the LORD his God.     Good Morning. I spent the midnight hours in the presence of the Lord. His presence has been so tangible and rich. Praise and thanksgiving have been on my lips. I simply adore God. I am in awe of His Majesty.   Today the Lord has led me to give words of admonishment. The purpose of the admonishment is to help you to encourage yourself in the Lord.    1.   Don’t despise the days of your correction. Chastening and scourging is an integral part of the 40 Day journey. Ask God to bring it close…closer. I have in a season of chastening and correction in the forty days presence driven Life. You can not spend time in His presence and stay the same. Hebrews 12:6 (King James Version) 6For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. 6For the Lord corrects and disciplines everyone whom He loves, and He punishes, even scourges, every son whom He accepts and welcomes to His heart and cherishes.   2.   Don’t despise Leadership. Every movement of God produces the emergence of new leaders and mentors. You will recognize your new friends, mentors and leaders. They will remind you of God and your new assignment. Be careful how you speak. Please bridle your tongue concerning your acceleration and growth. Refrain from boasting. The 40 Days will produce new mentorship and leadership in your life. Be careful not to judge and despise the old leaders and mentors. The Proclamations of “leaving the church and fellowship” are not profitable. One of the signs of change is a leadership change or shift. When leadership shifts or changes the season has changed. Your assignment should change with the new leadership. Exodus 2:23  (Amplified Bible) 23However, after a long time [nearly fortyyears] the king of Egypt died; and the Israelites were sighing and groaning because of the bondage. They kept crying, and their cry because of slavery ascended to God.   3.   Don’t despise the Days of your exaltation. Psalm 75:6 For not from the east nor from the west nor from the south come promotion and lifting up. For not from the east nor from the west, nor yet from the south doth exaltation come: (DBY) For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, You will some days during the 40 Days Presence Driven Life discouraged, misunderstood and lonely. Encourage Yourself. Build yourself up in the Lord. 1 Samuel 30:6 (Amplified Bible)1 Samuel 30:6 6David was greatly distressed, for the men spoke of stoning him because the souls of them all were bitterly grieved, each man for his sons and daughters. But David encouraged and strengthened himself in the Lord his God.   4.   Don’t despise your enemy At the peak of each move of God an enemy appears. The enemy seeks to steal the dream....Your enemies job is to block and sabotage your assignment. Your enemy discusses your past rather than your future Isaiah 43:17, Your Enemy magnifies your weakness that God is removing from your life Judges 16:1, Your enemy is jealous of your desire 1 Samuel 17:28, Your enemy hates progress Ezra 4:5   5.   Don’t despise your name change God is going to give you a new name during the 40 days of Presence Driven Life. Noah from builder to planter, Moses from slave to liberator, leader, lawgiver, prophet, and historian., Abram became Abraham, Sarai became Sarah, Jacob became Israel., Jesus changed Simon-Cephas to Peter . Change is not per se a criticism of the past, but rather recognition of the future   Meditation questions How do I expand my prayer life. be practical  1.
