A String of Failures

Life can be characterized by a  String of Failures tied by Hope. The person that succeeds will string  failure to failure without losing their enthusiasm.

1 Samuel 30:6And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God. 6-7 David strengthened himself with trust in his God.

Start talking to yourself. Exaggerate the successes and string them along in a litany of recitations. Here are 7 suggestions for encouraging yourself.

  1. Create an atmosphere that excites you. What excites you? - color, sound,
  2. View the Victory trophies
  3. talk to yourself-Self talk
  4. Find a circle of (vocation, church, world, protégés, mentors) friends that care about your pain, council, care, dream, wellbeing, Circle of care 7 circles...each Israel church, world, people who are touched by your pain, council, care
  5. Discover the Fragrance that makes you create fragrance affects your mood...if you don't decide on the fragrance, someone else will decide what you smell
  6. Create and decide the sounds (-words, music, favorite singers). Sounds decide how you feel

  7. Laugh-don't take yourself so seriously

  8. Listen to the bible-God is life

  9. Create a dream wall -Dreamscape

  10.   Rejoice, Give Praise and Thanksgiving   Celebrate lets break out the bubbling apple cider. At 6:00 PM EST let’s attest and toast to Gods goodness.

  11. 11.   Review your victory log

    12.  Testify tell the world what God has done

    13.   Raise a banner. (invite family and/or friends) Buy a 2 blank flags. Inscribed your victory on one the flag. Inscribed your sins on the other flag. Raise the banner of the Lord raise it ceremoniously and conspicuously in your house. Retire the flag inscribed with your sin. It should be burned, shredded, or buried. Please do not throw it in the trash.

    IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL

    My sin, oh, the bliss of this glorious thought!
    My sin, not in part but the whole,
    Is nailed to the cross, and I bear it no more,
    Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul!

    a.   Or build an (Ebenezer) Buy some stones and erect a monument. The Ebenezer stone represented a fresh beginning, a reversal of course for God's people. It also said something important about God: his mercies are everlasting; his covenant is forever. Prayer journals are a type of Ebenezer stone. You should set up an Ebenezer stone, I think, to serve as a continual reminder that I am forgiven, that I have chosen a new direction, that God has made a permanent Ebenezer: Machrie Moor standing stone, Scotlandcovenant with all who put their faith in Jesus Christ.1 Samuel 7:12 (Amplified Bible)12Then Samuel took a stone and set it between Mizpah and Shen, and he called the name of it Ebenezer [stone of help], saying, Heretofore the Lord has helped us.

    COME, THOU FOUNT OF EVERY BLESSING

    Here I raise my Ebenezer;
    Here by Thy great help I’ve come;
    And I hope, by Thy good pleasure,
    Safely to arrive at home.
    Jesus sought me when a stranger,
    Wandering from the fold of God;
    He, to rescue me from danger,
    Interposed His precious blood.
