The Marriage of the Puzzle Pieces
The patches of your lifes' quilt and fabric may seem disjointed and lifeless. Given your concinnity of disasters, one might expect a predominantly soiled fabric patches and Ezekiel 37 (The Message) 1-2 God grabbed me. God's Spirit took me up and set me down in the middle of an open plain strewn with bones. He led me around and among them—a lot of bones! There were bones all over the plain—dry bones, bleached by the sun. 3 He said to me, "Son of man, can these bones live?" I said, "Master God, only you know that." 4 He said to me, "Prophesy over these bones: 'Dry bones, listen to the Message of God!'"
Our life's Tapestry thread knots and tangles with the threads life's past present and future colors, disappointments and victories. Their will be a "marriage of the Incongruent pieces of the fabric of your life". There will be people and resources that will come your way. They may seem like pieces that don't fit into the fabric of your tapestry. Don't reject the apparent incongruous pieces. Don't push your past "dirt" under your tapestry like dirt up under the carpet. The Persian of you tapestry (Persian rug) is meant to be trodden by friend and foe. It will be trodden until enough of His light penetrates through in places that are threadbare. It will be trodden until enough of His light shines through. You will be repaired by the Weaver of life's past, present and future. Jesus!
You who are torn and broken the Weaver wants to put the pieces back together again. ![]() |
