Trash Talk is a part of Life -Yank the bravura crown right out the mouth of defeat!

Trash Talk

Trash Talk is a part of Life.  Consequently, Trash talk to yourself with love and trust in God.

Yank the bravura crown right out the mouth of defeat!

Trash talk may cause a dilemma in your life. It may be a diversion in your divine assignment. Separate the trash talk and discern its' contents. Some of the trash talk is recyclable, hazardous waste, and divinely ordered. The setting and culture will determine the Trash Talk synonym. Some of the common synonyms are selling Wolf tickets, Playing the dozens , using Fighting words or Sledging (cricket), Jeering, Bellicose language, prophetic talk.

National Trash talk was a concern a few weeks ago as Caesar Chavez trashed President Bush.
Jesus hurled "trash talk" to the Pharisees. He called them, "Shaman Pharisees' , white-washed sepulchers,  open graves waiting for men to fall into them, that they were descendants of the serpent, that they came from generations of vipers."

Satanic Trash talk for 20 years resulted in murder:   Charles Carl Roberts IV. Roberts, a 32-year-old milk truck driver and father of three, stormed the West Nickel Mines Amish School on October 2 armed with a shotgun, a handgun and a stun gun He told his family in notes and phone calls he was tormented by memories of molesting two young relatives 20 years ago. Thursday's funerals were scheduled for Naomi Rose Ebersole, 7; Marian Fisher, 13; Mary Liz Miller, 8; and her sister Lena Miller, 7, according to AP. Anna Mae Stoltzfus, 12, is to be buried Friday, AP reported. Five other girls who were victims of the shooting remained hospitalized, three in critical condition and two in serious condition. The girls range in age from 6 to 13.

Trash Talk and the crowd at the cross. Mark 15:30 (The Message) People passing along the road jeered, shaking their heads in mock lament: "You bragged that you could tear down the Temple and then rebuild it in three days—so show us your stuff! Save yourself! If you're really God's Son, come down from that cross!"

Muhammed Ali is probably the poster child for Trash talk. Trash-talk is a form of boast or insult that is common in sports and other competitions. It is usually used as a way to intimidate the opposition, but can also be used as humor. His epithets taunted his friends and branded his enemies. Ali had called Joe Frazier "ugly," "a gorilla," and an "Uncle Tom. He alsofrequently taunted Liston during the buildup by dubbing him "the big ugly bear", His trash talk also tribute his apparent invincibility. He would say "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee." " I am The Greatest".

Trash Talk and the Bellicose people and Nations: Why do the nations rage. There are bellicose traditions of a culture, people and nations that will seek to "diss" and "psyche" the prophetic Design of the Sovereign. Gods belly laugh and bellicose response.

Heaven-throned God breaks out laughing.
   At first he's amused at their presumption;
Then he gets good and angry.
Furiously, he shuts them up:
"Don't you know there's a King in Zion? A coronation banquet
Is spread for him on the holy summit."

Psalm 2:1  Psalm 2 1WHY DO the nations assemble with commotion [uproar and confusion of voices], and why do the people imagine (meditate upon and devise) an empty scheme?

1-6 Why the big noise, nations? Why the mean plots, peoples?
   Earth-leaders push for position,
Demagogues and delegates meet for summit talks,
   The God-deniers, the Messiah-defiers:
   "Let's get free of God!
   Cast loose from Messiah!"

Acts 4:25

By the Holy Spirit you spoke through the mouth of your servant and our father, David:<BR \>
   Why the big noise, nations?
   Why the mean plots, peoples?
   Earth's leaders push for position,
   Potentates meet for summit talks,
   The God-deniers, the Messiah-defiers!

25Who by the mouth of thy servant David hast said, Why did the heathen rage, and the people imagine vain things?

Can an Ice Cream Cone talk. Yea! An ice cream cone can speak. An Ice Cream spoke to me on the hottest day of this past summer.  The unbearable torrid weather summoned the summer delicacy. The summer delectable ritual and Trash Talk rebuked my  "weight watchers" regimen and budget. It was a fidget embalming creamy deposit to my final resolve to stave off the crematorium. The cool delectable confectionary cone called my name. The trash talk was so persuasive that it convinced me that the Pathmark and Carvel were no longer options. Gourmet ice cream (Cold Stone Creamery) was the only option!

Some trash talk is in agreement with my affliction, bad habits, and addictions. Some trash talk speaks louder, and  longer, than my seemingly acts of sporadic obedience. Some Trash Talk is able to leap tall building at a single bound, and is faster than a speeding bullet. Some of Life's wolf tickets walk in fellowship with the rebel in me and others. Some of life's challenges Play the dozens with my ignorance and naiveté.

Them’s Fighting Words

So, I confess that I would do, I do not. Romans 7:21 (The Message) 21-23It happens so regularly that it's predictable. The moment I decide to do good, sin is there to trip me up. I truly delight in God's commands, but it's pretty obvious that not all of me joins in that delight. Parts of me covertly rebel, and just when I least expect it, they take charge. Them’s Fighting Words. I Do unto others before they would have them do unto me.

Trash talk is an incubator for exposing the loyalty or disloyalty of your opposition and friends.

Trash talk is the:

  • Hinge on the door of promotion job

  • incubator for exposing disloyalty

  • purger

Trash Talk is the fodder of Victory:

  • reveals the size of the opposition and the chief opponent 1 Samuel 17:4And there went out a champion out of the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, of Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.

  • reveals the distance between you and the opposition 2And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and pitched by the valley of Elah, and set the battle in array against the Philistines

  • Trash talk will reveal the amour, defense and vulnerability of the opposition 5And he had an helmet of brass upon his head, and he was armed with a coat of mail; and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of brass. 6And he had greaves of brass upon his legs, and a target of brass between his shoulders. 7And the staff of his spear was like a weaver's beam; and his spear's head weighed six hundred shekels of iron: and one bearing a shield went before him.

  • Trash talk will reveal the terms of victory 8And he stood and cried unto the armies of Israel, and said unto them, Why are ye come out to set your battle in array? am not I a Philistine, and ye servants to Saul? choose you a man for you, and let him come down to me. 9If he be able to fight with me, and to kill me, then will we be your servants: but if I prevail against him, and kill him, then shall ye be our servants, and serve us  10And the Philistine said, I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.

Trash talk may cause a dilemma. Before you act consider the following:

  • identify the real cause of the dilemma - wrong counsel, advice, bad decision, disobedience, rebellion to God

  • Obedience to God can cause you to be the victim of trash talk

  • Their is a reward  for overcoming the trash talk

  • There is a scriptural example for your situation-similar trial

  • Mum is the word, never enter a battle unless their is a reward

  • Mum is the word, never discuss the crisis with someone who is unable to solve the problem

  • Prayer is the Word (trash talk)  reach for intercessors.

  • Trash talk to yourself with love and trust in God

David encouraged Himself. David strengthened himself with trust in his God.

1 Samuel 30 (The Message)

As he came near he called out, "Success!"

22 But all the mean-spirited men who had marched with David, the rabble element, objected: "They didn't help in the rescue, they don't get any of the plunder we recovered. Each man can have his wife and children, but that's it. Take them and go!"

23-25 "Families don't do this sort of thing! Oh no, my brothers!" said David as he broke up the argument. "You can't act this way with what God gave us! God kept us safe. He handed over the raiders who attacked us. Who would ever listen to this kind of talk? The share of the one who stays with the gear is the share of the one who fights—equal shares. Share and share alike!" From that day on, David made that the rule in Israel—and it still is.

Proverbs 15 God Doesn't Miss a Thing

1 A gentle response defuses anger, but a sharp tongue kindles a temper-fire.

Mums the word
